Vineyard Church Prayer & Encounter Ministry Partner Application

October 1st - October 1st, 2027

The purpose of the Prayer and Encounter Ministry is to encourage others in developing a lifestyle of presence, peace and power through encounter with Jesus. There are six key areas that encompass this ministry: Communion Team, Creative Arts Team, Kingdom Intercessory Prayer, Prayer Team, Prophetic Encounters, and Sozo. Our desire is that through these areas of ministry, individuals will learn to recognize the voice of God in their life and remember His sacrifice on the cross and resurrection as the center of all things. His children will discover how to develop their spiritual senses by activating the creative gifts found within all of us and engage in corporate prayer that invites the presence and direction of the Holy Spirit. Inner healing sessions will be facilitated through the Sozo ministry. Our ministry aims at equipping a body of believers to: "Manifest your kingdom realm, and cause your every purpose to be fulfilled on earth, just as it is fulfilled in heaven.” Nothing is withheld from us!" Matthew 6:10 (Passion Translation)

Prayer and Encounter Ministry partners will serve the Vineyard family in cultivating a more intimate walk with Jesus. They will demonstrate the love and heart of the Father by “rightly handling the Word of truth” (2 Tim 2:15). “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth” (1 Cor 13:4-6). Ministry partners commit to “do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant” (Phil 2:3) and in doing so represent Vineyard’s mission.

Baptismclass wodetails

Baptism Classes

November 5th - November 12th, 2017

Why Baptism?

Baptism is an outward sign of your inner commitment to follow Jesus. When you are baptized you are saying to the world, "I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back." Something spiritually significant happens when your are baptized. You are cleansed from your past mistakes, and you are pushed forward toward your new life in Christ Jesus.

Does your child seem ready to make their decision to give their life to Jesus or they may have already done so? Your child may be asking questions about sin, confession, God's love or baptism. We encourage each child to make this decision when they are personally ready. Therefore it is a unique testimony, age and time for each child.

We'll be having baptisms during Open Heavens on November 12th. To get baptized, you will need to attend our orientation.

The child class will be Nov. 5th at 9A in the Family Center in room #102.

The adult class will be Nov. 12th at 5P in the Lodge.
